1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, pledge amounts and messages, campaign submission details, and account credentials. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate the Platform, process and record pledges, notify Sponsors of support for their campaigns, communicate with you about campaigns and your account, send optional newsletters, and comply with legal obligations.
3. What We Share
If you make a pledge, the campaign Sponsor receives your name and message unless you choose to remain anonymous. We share data with service providers (such as our payment processor and hosting providers) only as needed to operate the Platform. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie consent banner.
5. Data Security and Retention
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and row-level access controls on our database. We retain information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services and meet legal requirements.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on your state or country of residence, additional privacy rights may apply.
